When I started Proforma in 1978, I just saw it as a way to own my own business and make money. The truth is that, even in 1986 when we started franchising, I just saw our affiliate model as a method for business growth.
However, over the years I have come to realize that Proforma is a calling for me. We have the honor of helping hundreds of people who trust us with one of their most important dreams—the dream of owning their own successful business. I have come to see that the trust others put in me and Proforma to help them accomplish their dreams is a sacred obligation and a wonderful opportunity for me to positively impact the lives of thousands of people.
It is incredibly rewarding for me any time an affiliate owner approaches me at an event, gives me a big hug and thanks me and Proforma for changing their life. Today, I am mightily blessed to experience my career as a calling.
